Murphy has retained the small town America charm, with low traffic, friendly people, and a variety of small stores and shops. Yet, Murphy NC is only about a two hour drive from Atlanta, GA; Greenville, SC; Asheville, NC; Gatlinburg, TN; and Chattanooga, TN
